Squares

So many squares
All in rows and columns
Each hold their own shape within
They pitter about
Their forms shift
And the movement becomes new forms
So many boxes
Stories in each
Flash only for a moment
One panel squats, the other reads
one seems distraught, one runs on four legs
On and on the tiles shift
As I stare out from my own
My own box life amongst it’s neighbors
Reflect the checkerboard across
My own story viewed
What show does my square display?
